The company commenced trading in 1991 as VR Services marketing the Hygiene Bag Dispenser to the hospitality industry. The company was instrumental in introducing this, then revolutionary product, into the UK and the product is still an important part of the company’s range. The development of the company’s web site in the early 90’s has resulted in overseas sales from as far apart as Ecuador and Dubai.
The company commenced its service division in 1995 following strong local demand from companies dissatisfied with poor service from providers who also often held them to long term contracts. VR Services became VR Sani-Co Ltd when it was incorporated in June 1998 but it still remains very much a family business.
The business now operates 5 service vehicles covering Kent, East Sussex and London. Its sanitary bin disposal customers include offices, restaurants, hotels, sports centres, hospitals and educational establishments ranging from one bin up to one site with around 2000 bins.
Service Quality and Reliability is regarded as paramount by VR Sani-Co who does not believe in trying to retain customers by tying them into long term contracts.
